How does it work?
Here's an actual example - use of a Causal Model to capture the relationship between various parameters affecting the outcome of an individual's Systolic BP.
Creating the Causal Graph
With sufficient data, the model on the right may be used to answer questions such as:

• How much causal influence (in %) does each factor (Sex, Smoking, Diabetes, Family History, etc.) have on the variable of interest (Systolic BP)?

• What is the probability that the Systolic BP will be 150, given that Diabetes has a specific severity score?

• If the Smoking is moderate, with a Family History of CVD, and Age is 50, simulate what all the possible Systolic BP values will look like.
