OPUS-C provides the necessary causal engine and tools to create user-driven causal models and drive the following 4 areas of applications:

ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS

Instead of using correlation to guess at where a problem may have originated from, the causal model may be used to identify the top N potential root causes for an observed anomaly or an output variance.

WHAT-IF SCENARIOS

Play with the model to see how the output of any parameter (node) changes as individual or combinations of parameter values are altered.

OPTIMIZATION

Use the model to make recommendations for parameter settings to optimize the output value.

FORECASTING

Project how any variable of interest in the causal model will behave into the future, if certain parameters on the model are altered.
